Description
I found a bearded dragon this afternoon around 3:15pm along the Dubuque Riverwalk near the Diamond Jo Casino. It's about 9-10 inches long, sandy tan with darker brown banding along the back and a hint of orange on the beard. Notable marks: a small white scar over its left eye and a slightly truncated tail tip from a past injury. It was sunning itself on a sun-warmed rock near the path by the river, looking calm but curious. It seems healthy and well-fed, and I know the owner is probably worried by now.
