Black Yamaha violin in hard case with red sticker

Decatur Lost listing Posted 4 months ago

Description

I lost my black Yamaha student violin yesterday around 3pm near Decatur Square, outside the cafe on East College Avenue. It’s in a matte-black hard case with a bright red sticker shaped like a musical note on the lid, and there’s a small dent along the lower bout of the violin itself. The bow has a blue thread tied around the grip, and the zipper pulls on the case are a bit bent from travel. This violin means a lot to me; it was a gift from my grandmother and carries a lot of sentimental value. If you found it, I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back—I’m hoping someone left it safe with the Decatur Library desk or by the storefronts on Ponce de Leon.
