Lost: Holiday Decorations in Corvallis / Albany

I discovered around 8:50 p.m. last Tuesday that my holiday decorations were gone from my front porch on 7th Street in Corvallis, not far from the OSU campus. The box held a red wreath, garlands, and several strings of multicolor lights— the kind I haul out each year to brighten our block, especially when family visits from Albany. It’s not just stuff; it’s the memories and the little rituals that mark the season. I’m hoping the finder saw this post and can return the items to their rightful home.

Lost equipment for various sports near Dixon Center, Corvallis

I was wrapping up a training session around 7:15 p.m. last Tuesday by the Dixon Recreation Center on 26th Street in Corvallis when I realized my gear bag had vanished from the bench near the gym entrance. The bag holds equipment for soccer, basketball, and tennis — a black duffel, shin guards, a tennis racket with a red grip, and a basketball. It also has an OSU sticker on the zipper. Losing this bag would throw a wrench into my league plans for the month, and I’m hoping someone picked it up by mistake and will hand it back when you see this post.

Lost toaster near OSU campus, Corvallis

Last night around 7:05 p.m., I realized my toaster had vanished from my Corvallis apartment near the OSU campus. I had used it to toast a bagel before heading out for a short walk along the Willamette River. The toaster is a small stainless model with a dent on the side and a thrift-store sticker on the back. It’s part of my morning routine, and I’d be grateful to have it back if it turns up anywhere in Corvallis or Albany.

Lost Student ID near OSU campus, Corvallis/Albany

Yesterday around 4:15 p.m., I realized my Student ID was missing somewhere on the Corvallis campus. I had just left the OSU bookstore and was walking toward the library when I noticed it was gone from my bag. The card is small, with a blue OSU logo and my name on the front; it's essential for checking out books, getting into the dorm, and printing in the computer lab. I'm anxious because I need it for classes this week and I can't get into certain buildings without it. If you found anything near the Memorial Union, the library steps, or around the campus bookstore, please drop a note on the site.

Red knit scarf with pinecone patch

I lost my red knit scarf yesterday afternoon around 3pm outside the Valley Library on the OSU campus, near the College Ave entrance in Corvallis. It's a soft, hand-knit scarf about 6 feet long, a seasonal winter essential, with a fuzzy texture and frayed ends. There’s a small pinecone patch sewn near the left end and a label on the underside that reads 'A. Kim' in cursive. It has sentimental value because my grandmother gave it to me last winter, and I was counting on it for the chilly mornings this week. If anyone found it, please get in touch — I’d really appreciate getting it back.

Blue Le Creuset 5-qt Dutch oven

I was helping a friend move yesterday afternoon around 4pm, and my blue Le Creuset 5-quart Dutch oven vanished from the kitchen counter in their apartment near the Corvallis Public Library on Main Street. The pot is a bright cobalt blue enamel with a sturdy black lid knob and a small chip along the rim where it bumped the edge of the sink. The interior enamel is cream-colored and clean, and you can see the Le Creuset stamp on the bottom. It was a gift from my grandmother and holds a lot of sentimental value, so I’d really love to get it back if someone happened to find it around the library or the 1st Street area.
