Lost: Pocket Watches in Columbia

Hello, I’m Maya Carter. I lost two pocket watches in Columbia—an antique gold one engraved with a family name and a newer silver one with a blue dial—near the South Carolina State House on Gervais Street, around 4:15 p.m. last Tuesday. I’d been stepping out of a coffee shop on Lady Street when I realized I’d dropped them somewhere along the sidewalk. They’re precious to me, one holding a faded memory of my grandfather, the other a gift from a friend. I’m hopeful they’re somewhere nearby and I’ll be grateful for any sighting.
