On Friday at about 4:40 p.m., outside the Union Terminal entrance in downtown Cincinnati, I found a small stack of old postcards tucked beneath a vending box. They’re travel-bound cards from the 1960s, with bright seaside scenes and handwritten notes that crackle with age.
