Lost puppies near Illini Union, UIUC campus

Hi, I'm Sofia Kim from Champaign-Urbana. I lost two puppies, a small black terrier and a cream-colored mix, around 9:30 p.m. last night near the Illini Union on the University of Illinois campus. They slipped from their harness during a short stroll after a light rain, and I can't stop imagining them wandering the sidewalks amid the crowds. They're friendly and curious, and I'm terrified one might slip into traffic; if you found them, please keep them safe and let the site know so I can get them back home.

Lost quilts near Champaign Public Library, UIUC area

I was wrapping up a late study session when the quilts slipped from a tote and vanished on Tuesday around 7:45 PM, near the Champaign Public Library on Neil Street. They're twin-sized, patchwork quilts in blues and creams, with a small floral label stitched in the corner. They felt like home after long days in the stacks, and I’m stubbornly hopeful they’ll turn up again.

Carry-ons lost near Illini Union, Champaign

I grabbed a quick coffee at 1:20 p.m. on Monday outside the Illini Union on Main Street when I noticed my carry-ons weren't in my sight. I hurried back along Green Street toward the campus end and asked at a few shops, but no luck. The bags are a charcoal rolling suitcase and a small black backpack, packed with travel documents and a scarf I bought on a trip last fall. I’m anxious about losing these everyday essentials and hopeful someone turned them in at the Illini Union desk or nearby.

Lost suits in Champaign-Urbana

Today at 11:30 am, after a campus meeting at the Illini Union, I realized I left my two charcoal suits somewhere along Main Street in Champaign-Urbana. The blazer and trousers are tailored; one elbow has a tiny tear, barely noticeable. These suits matter to me for upcoming interviews, and losing them shakes my plans. If you’ve seen them around near the Illini Union or Krannert Center on Main Street, please let me know through the site.

Lost memory cards near UIUC Main Library

I’m finishing up a late study session at UIUC when I realize my memory cards are missing after I photographed campus life. It was around 9:30 p.m. yesterday, by the Main Library entrance on the UIUC campus, close to the Quad crosswalk. The tiny black case holds two 32GB cards and a 64GB card, one with a red label and another with a tiny scratch. Those files include campus photos, notes from fieldwork, and a few personal shots I treasure. I’m trying not to panic, but the thought of them being gone is tough—I'm hoping someone found them and kept them safe so they can be returned here.
