Blue Penguin Classics edition, dog-eared page, lost
I lost my blue Penguin Classics edition of Pride and Prejudice yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Main Street in downtown Mount Pleasant. It's a hardcover, about 5 by 7 inches, with a slightly creased spine and a blue ribbon bookmark peeking out. Inside there's a small library sticker with my initials A.R., and I even left a pressed daisy tucked between pages 128. This copy was a gift from my grandmother, so it has sentimental value and I really need it back for class. If anyone found it, please drop it off at the Central Michigan University Library desk or message me here—I'd be incredibly grateful.
Lost light blue fabric dog leash with yellow paw print pattern near the park in Central Michigan.
I lost my dog's leash while walking in Central Michigan near the park. It's a light blue, fabric leash with a little yellow paw print pattern. I set it down to pick up after my dog and forgot to grab it when we headed back. It’s quite special to me, so I hope to get it back soon!
Lost dog: brown-fawn mixed-breed with red collar
I lost my brown-fawn, 40-pound mixed-breed dog, Scout, yesterday around 3pm near the Meijer on Mission Street in Mount Pleasant, Central Michigan. He's wearing a bright red collar with a silver bone-shaped tag. Scout has a small white patch on his chest, a slight limp in his right hind leg, and a crooked left ear that makes him look extra goofy. We were by the parking lot near the Chippewa River Trail when he bolted after a squirrel and disappeared into the trees. He means the world to me—he's anxious without me and this dog is family. If anyone finds him, please email me at [email protected]. Thank you.
Lost small brown dog named Max with a blue collar near the park off Main Street in Central Michigan.
I lost my small brown dog while walking him near the park just off Main Street in Central Michigan. His name is Max, and he has a blue collar with a tag that has my phone number. He's friendly but can be timid around strangers. I last saw him around 5 PM on Tuesday, and I'm really worried about him. If you see him, please let me know!
Blue hardcover first-edition novel found near Park Library
I found a blue hardcover first-edition novel this afternoon around 3:20 pm, sitting on a bench outside the CMU Student Center near Park Library on University Avenue in Mount Pleasant, Central Michigan. The book is about 350 pages, with a dust jacket that has a small tear along the spine and a faint coffee ring on the back cover. The inside front cover has a bright red ribbon bookmark sticking out, and there is a dog-eared page around page 120. The smell is a mix of old paper and coffee, and the corners are a bit worn, clearly well loved. I figure someone must be missing it after class; if this rings a bell, let me know so I can get it back to them.
