I was walking back from Park Street Market at about 2:15 PM this Saturday when the little wooden train from my son's set slipped from my backpack and rolled toward the curb near Copper King Plaza in downtown Butte. I sprinted after it, dodging a couple of tourists and a stray dog, but the gusty wind and traffic swallowed it up. The train is a piece of home for him, a relic from our holidays that keeps him company during stories at bedtime. I could really use your help finding it so I can bring a smile back to my kid's face.

I was wrapping up a casual pickup game in downtown Butte around 5:30 p.m. last Friday, near the Market Square area behind the Copper King Hotel, when the bag slipped from my grip. It’s a navy-blue duffel with a white stripe and a patch bearing my initials. Inside are shin guards, two tennis rackets, a soccer ball, and a dusty pair of sneakers. The bag is labeled MH on the patch, and I’m hoping someone picked it up and kept it safe. If you see a bag that matches, please check for the initials MH.

LOST: Shopping bags on Main Street, Butte

Two shopping bags slipped from my grip around 6:40 p.m. on Main Street, and I left them on a bench outside the Copper King Hotel. One bag held groceries, the other a canvas tote with my Montana jacket and a stack of receipts. I retraced the downtown blocks, spoke to a few shopkeepers, and checked the benches nearby, but no sign of them. Lost rabbits near Uptown Butte, Berkeley Pit

I lost my two rabbits at 7:45 AM today from their covered hutch in my yard off Main Street, Uptown Butte. They’re a small pair, one white with black ears and the other gray with a white stripe on the nose; they’ve been part of our family since last spring. I’ve checked the brush near the Berkeley Pit overlook and along Copper King Road, but there’s no sign of them yet. I’m worried they’ve wandered far and I miss their little hops already. If you’ve seen them in or around this area today, please help us bring them home.

Lost Hand Tools in Butte

I was in my garage by the Berkeley Pit overlook in Butte around 2:30 PM today when my hand tools disappeared from a tote by the workbench. The tote held a red-handled screwdriver, a yellow tape measure, and a hammer with a chipped head—nothing fancy, just the basics I use all the time. I remember setting the tote down while I cut some wire and turning away to fetch pliers; when I looked back, it was gone. Lost terrariums in Butte, Montana

I was walking through Uptown Butte near the Berkeley Pit overlook around 11:15 AM Saturday when I realized my terrariums were missing from my backpack. They’re two glass terrariums with moss and tiny plants, tied with twine around the lids. They mean a lot to me—a small reminder of a trip and a lot of care went into them.
