Yesterday around 6:15 PM, after I finished a coffee run near the Brownsville Convention Center, I found two pocket watches tucked under a bench along 1st Street in Brownsville, Texas. One is brass with an old-style chain and a small engraving on the back; the other is a slim silver piece with a cracked glass. They’re dusty but seem to still tick when you wind them. I brought them to the lost-and-found and posted this in hopes the rightful owner will recognize the craftsmanship.

I found a red-eared slider turtle this afternoon around 3:15 PM near the Resaca de la Palma State Park entrance on Boca Chica Blvd in Brownsville. It's about 3 inches long, with an olive-green carapace and bright yellow striping, and the underbelly is pale yellow with a couple of small dark specks. There’s a small blue paint mark along the left edge of the shell, and the right front toe looks a bit bent from a past scrape. It seemed healthy and curious, poking its head out from a nearby log by the drainage ditch. Beige Coach tote with gold hardware

Found a beige Coach tote this afternoon around 3:45pm in the parking lot behind the CVS on 10th Street, near the Brownsville Town Center. It's pebble-grain leather, about 14 inches wide by 12 inches tall, with gold hardware and a tan shoulder strap. The inner lining is dusty pink, and there’s a small coffee stain near the zipper pocket. A heart-shaped keychain hangs from the zipper pull, and the bottom corners show light wear from daily use. I’m hoping the owner sees this and knows it’s safe—really want to help get it back to its rightful owner.
