Small gray dwarf hamster found near Brainerd Library

I found a small gray dwarf hamster this afternoon around 2:30pm in the parking lot behind the Brainerd Public Library on Willow Street. It’s walnut-sized, with soft fur darker on top and lighter underneath. It has a small white patch on its left shoulder and a tiny nick on its right ear. It looked healthy and a bit curious as it checked out a makeshift cage I set up with bedding and a touch of seed mix.
