One is burgundy wool and the other a soft gray knit; both look new but worn from the cold air. I hung around for a few minutes, asking a couple of walkers, then tucked them out of sight in my coat pocket for safekeeping until the owner shows up. It felt like a small bit of luck to help someone out, even if I don’t know who they are. I hope the owner sees this and recognizes the scarves soon.

I found a Shimano spinning rod and a small tackle box this afternoon around 3:15 pm near the Bozeman Creek Trailhead behind the Bozeman Public Library on East Main Street. The rod is blue and black, about 6 ft 6 in with a slightly worn grip, and the gray reel still looks usable; the yellow tackle box has a red Lucky Lures label and is packed with a few brightly colored lures.
