Description
I lost my blue paperback poetry collection yesterday around 3pm. It's a 6x9 inch book with a blue cover and gold embossed title, about 250 pages. I last had it near the Broome County Public Library on Court Street in Binghamton; there’s a small coffee stain on the back and the corners are slightly creased. Inside, there’s a doodle of a cat on page 128 and a dog-eared bookmark I slipped in. It was a gift from my aunt last Christmas, so it really means a lot to me—if someone found it, I’d love to get it back; you can reach me at [email protected].

How to safely get your item back

- Request a clear photo of the item from an angle you did not post.
- Do not pay any release, shipping, or storage fee.

Meet in a safe, public place
- Police stations, café entrances, transport hubs, and shop foyers all work.

- Avoid private homes, car parks at night, or isolated locations.
Bring someone with you
- Tell a friend or family member where you are meeting and when.
- Share your live location with them during the handoff.
- For high-value items, consider contacting your local police station for advice first.
