I lost my brown leather Coach handbag yesterday around 3pm outside the Mount Baker Theatre on Cornwall Avenue in downtown Bellingham. It's a medium-sized bag with a gold-tone zipper, a few scuffs on the bottom, and a tan suede interior. There’s a green tassel keychain attached and a small coffee stain near the bottom corner, plus a family photo tucked inside. This bag was a gift from my grandmother and means a lot to me—if anyone found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back.

I lost my holiday decorations outside my apartment in Bellingham around 4:50 p.m. today, while bringing a tote bag of garlands and ornaments back inside past Boulevard Park's waterfront. The bag was red with pinecone motifs and included a string of warm-white fairy lights and a lighthouse ornament I bought during last year’s trip to Friday Harbor. These decorations carry family memories and mark the start of our winter traditions. I’m hoping they turned up nearby—the Boulevard Park shoreline, or along the pedestrian path by the marina—so I can bring the light back to our home.

I lost my shiny Yamaha trumpet yesterday around 3pm. I was hanging out near the Fairhaven Village Green on Fairhaven Avenue, outside Village Books, when I realized it wasn't in my bag anymore. It's a bright brass trumpet with silver valves; the bell has a small dent and the third valve slide is a touch bent. The case is black with a red lining, and the mouthpiece cap has a tiny scratch shaped like a checkmark. There’s an engraving on the valve casing with the initials 'PK'—my own—so it’s pretty distinctive.
