Teak coffee table with glass top
Found a teak coffee table with a glass top this afternoon around 3:45pm behind the Trader Joe's on Stockdale Avenue in Bakersfield. It's about 42 inches long, 18 inches wide, with a warm honey-brown finish and slender carved legs. There's a small drawer on the side with a brass pull, and the glass top has a faint scratch along the edge that's only visible when it catches the light. I tucked it behind the storefront planters to keep it safe while I checked for a tag or owner, and it just looks like something someone would want back.
Ray-Ban Wayfarer glasses with blue temples
I lost my Ray-Ban Wayfarer eyeglasses yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks inside Valley Plaza Mall in Bakersfield. They're black with blue temple tips, and one lens has a tiny scratch along the top edge. There’s a small heart sticker on the inside of the left temple that makes them easy to spot if you peek. They were a gift from my mom last year, and I really need them back for work and driving. If you found them, email me at [email protected] — it would mean the world.
Framed desert landscape painting, 18x24 in
Yesterday around 3pm I was grabbing a coffee outside the Fox Theater on 19th Street in downtown Bakersfield when my framed painting slipped from my bag. It's an 18x24 inch acrylic landscape of a warm desert scene, with orange skies and spiky cacti, in a natural oak frame with a tiny crack along the bottom edge. There's a small silver sticker on the back that reads ML Studio and a faint fingerprint on the glass near the lower right corner. I ran back but it wasn't there—really hoping someone picked it up and kept it safe. It matters to me because it's a gift from my grandmother and feels sentimental; I’d be grateful to have it back.
Black Ray-Ban eyeglasses with case found
I found a pair of black Ray-Ban Wayfarer-style glasses this afternoon around 3:15 PM in the parking lot behind the Valley Plaza Shopping Center on Ming Avenue in Bakersfield. The frames are matte black, with a small silver Ray-Ban logo on the temple and a black leather case with a gray fuzzy lining. They show a tiny scratch on the right lens and the left temple feels a bit loose, but otherwise in good shape. Inside the right temple there’s an engraving that reads 'A.J.' which should help identify the owner. If these look familiar, send a note through the app with a description of the engraving and the case; I’d be glad to help reunite them with you.
