I lost my blue Giro bike helmet yesterday around 4pm near Syntagma Square in Athens, right outside the metro entrance by the Grande Bretagne hotel. It's a matte blue Giro helmet with a noticeable red scratch along the left edge and a small dent on the visor. Under the strap there’s a white sticker with my initials 'SN' that you won’t miss. It’s sentimental to me because it was a gift from my cycling club after I completed my first charity ride, and I really need it back. If you’ve seen it or picked it up, please reach out — I’ll know it by the scratch, the sticker, and the slightly worn shell.
Lost dog near Court Street, Athens OH
I lost my dog, a beagle mix named Pico, around 8:15 PM on Tuesday near Court Street by Nelson Hall and the Athens Farmers Market. We had just finished a walk along College Green when a car horn startled him and he bolted toward the bike path behind Nelson Hall. He's tan with white patches and wears a red collar with a blue tag, and I can't stop thinking about him and hoping someone spotted him and kept him safe.
