At 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, I realized my two felines were missing outside the Big Texan Steak Ranch along I-40 in Amarillo. I scanned the parking lot and the glimmering strip of lights, but their meows faded into the evening wind. They are shy and curious, so I’m worried they’ll wander into traffic on the highway. If anyone spotted two small cats slipping through the fence by the exit, please think of them and let me know.
